Cairo: The Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) said that women representation in the government in 2024 reached 16%.
According to State Information Service Egypt, this announcement came in a press release on the International Women’s Day to appreciate the role of women and their contribution to achieving sustainable development.
The CAPMAS asserted that the number of Egyptian population reached 107.3 million, adding that women represent 52.2 million of the total population, recording 48.6%.
