Canadian-Egyptian Political Strategic Dialogue to Be Held in Q1 of 2025.


Cairo: Assistant to Foreign Minister for American Affairs Sameh Abou El Enein met with the Canadian-Egyptian Business Council (CEBC) to discuss ways of bolstering trade, economic cooperation, Canadian investments in Egypt, and support to Egyptian exporters to Canada. The discussions aimed at enhancing bilateral relations and exploring new avenues for collaboration between the two nations.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the two sides also conferred over holding a political strategic dialogue in the first quarter of 2025. This dialogue is anticipated to further strengthen the political and economic ties between Canada and Egypt. Additionally, plans were made to organize meetings for members of the Egyptian and Canadian business communities to facilitate greater interaction and cooperation.
