A high-profile Canadian delegation, comprising Canadian Minister of International Development Harjit Sajjan, his assistant Christopher MacLennan and Canadian Ambassador in Cairo Louis Dumas on Friday 12/08/2022 visited the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) in Old Cairo’s Fustat neighborhood.
They were received by the museum’s director Ahmed Ghoneim.
Ghoneim informed the Canadian delegation about the cultural role played by the museum in bolstering the bonds of friendship and cooperation between the peoples of the world.
The delegation members inspected the museum’s main exhibition hall, the royal mummies hall and the gift house.
