The cabinet held on Wednesday, 1-2-2023, its weekly meeting – under Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli – to discuss an array of political, economic and social files.

The latest developments in the international arena and repercussions of the Russian-Ukrainian crisis will be tackled during the meeting.

The meeting will also take up work progress at national ventures implemented across the various governorates, including “Decent Life” presidential Initiative to develop the Egyptian countryside.

The implementation of directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi regarding providing food commodities to the citizens including opening “Welcome Ramadan” outlets, following up the customs release of the goods held in the ports, allocating industrial lands to investors, the comprehensive social solidarity umbrella, will be discussed.

The file of work progress in the State’s health, sports, education and transport sectors as well as measures to support limited-income brackets and meet citizens’ needs will figure high on the meeting’s discussions.
