Cairo: British Ambassador to Egypt Gareth Bayley has expressed his gratitude to the Egyptian Foreign Ministry for hosting the Cairo Ministerial Conference aimed at enhancing humanitarian efforts in Gaza. The conference, which took place under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, was a significant gathering attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty and various foreign ministers from regional and international levels.
According to State Information Service Egypt, British Minister for International Development Anneliese Dodds, who participated in the conference, announced an additional $24 million in aid for the Palestinians. This initiative underscores the UK’s commitment to aiding the Palestinian people amidst the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip.
