House Speaker, Nabih Berri, on Monday received at the second presidency in Ain El-Tineh, Al-Liwaa newspaper Editor-in-Chief Salah Salam.
On the other hand, Speaker Berri followed up on the country’s general situation, political developments, and legislative affairs during his meeting with Deputy Speaker, Elias Bou Saab.
In a chat with media representatives, Bou Saab stressed the importance of the parliamentary session to be held upcoming Wednesday, to come up with a united national position regarding the displaced Syrians’ dossier.
Bou Saab renewed his call on political parties and parliamentary blocs for the necessity of holding dialogue and agreement for the election of the president of the republic.
Berri later received the Head of the National Anti-Corruption Commission, Judge Claude Karam in the presence of the commission’s member, Dr. Ali Badran.
