BAHAA HARIRI PURSUES HIS MEETINGS IN BEIRUT

For a second consecutive day, Bahaa Rafik Hariri continued his meetings and gatherings in Beirut, as he received this afternoon at his place of stay at the Phoenicia Hotel several Beirut activists and prominent figures, trade union officials, youth, popular and social delegations from various regions and neighborhoods of the capital.

Hariri listened to his visitors’s demands and political, social, and developmental concerns, as they urged him to continue communicating and implementing development and vital projects for the capital and creating new work opportunities for the young generation. The delegations also stressed the need for the Sunni community to regain its prestigious and accustomed position, through the presence of a strong Sunnite leadership that preserves the rights of the community and ensures fair and proper representation.

For his part, Hariri affirmed his commitment to continuing the path of his late father, martyr Prime Minister Rafik Hariri, and working to realize his project for the goo
d and interest of Lebanon, and Beirut specifically, by launching the ‘Al-Masar’ movement.

He stressed ‘the necessity of rebuilding state institutions correctly and transparently, away from the politics of corruption and quotas,’ pledging to do everything in his power to change the current reality.

Hariri also underlined “the importance of working to create sustainable projects by relying on advanced mechanisms.”
