The Supreme Council of Al Azhar, led by Grand Imam Ahmed el Tayyeb, approved an international and comprehensive program to teach Arabic language to non-native speakers, according to a statement.

The move came in response to high desires and calls from several world countries to learn the Arabic language and Islamic sciences, said the statement.
