Ayla Golf Club has received four international accolades from the 2024 Sustainable Luxury Awards, underscoring its status as a regional leader in sustainable practices within the golfing industry. The club was recognized for its commitment to balancing development with environmental conservation and reducing carbon footprints.
In a statement released Monday, Ayla highlighted that the awards are a testament to its efforts in embedding sustainability across its vision, mission, and operations. The recognition followed detailed evaluations by expert committees focused on the club’s strategies for sustainable development.
Ayla Golf Club was awarded the title of the most sustainable 18-hole golf course in the region, and it was also recognized as the world’s most sustainable desert golf course. Additionally, it received awards for being the most sustainable mountain golf course locally and the most sustainable championship golf course in the Middle East.

Ayla Golf Club is Jordan’s premier championship course, featuring 18 holes and a golf academy with an additional 9-hole course. The course, designed by renowned golfer Greg Norman, spans over 800,000 square meters, with undulating green fairways interspersed with lakes and varied elevations.
