Metropolitan of Beirut and its dependencies, Archbishop Elias Audi, on Friday welcomed Canadian Ambassador to Lebanon, Stefanie McCollum, who said after the visit: “I was honored to visit His Eminence, Metropolitan Elias. I introduced myself as the Canadian ambassador to Lebanon. The meeting with His Eminence was interesting, and I learned from him about the Church’s work, its dealings with the current crisis, and hope for the future.”

Bishop Audi then received United Nations Special Coordinator for Lebanon, Joanna Wronecka, with whom he discussed the country’s general situation.
