At least nine Palestinians killed in Israeli bombardment on Gaza

GAZA: At least nine civilians, including a child, were killed and several others injured over the last hours due to Israeli aerial and artillery strikes targeting residential areas across the Gaza Strip.

According to local sources, Israeli warplanes carried out an airstrike on a residence in the Maghrebi neighborhood southeast of Gaza City, resulting in the killing of two individuals and the injury of others.

Simultaneously, ongoing artillery shelling on the city of Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip led to the killing of three civilians and left dozens more injured. The wounded were promptly transported to Kamal Adwan Hospital for medical treatment.

In a separate incident, Israeli forces targeted a vehicle north of the city of Rafah, south of the enclave, resulting in the tragic death of four civilians, including a child, and injuring others.

Additionally, dozens of civilians were injured as a result of Israeli occupation forces targeting the Yarmouk Stadium in Gaza City. The wounded were swiftly tra
nsferred to Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital for medical treatment.

Of note, nearly all of the hospitals in northern Gaza, including the Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital, are operating with minimum medical personnel due to the fact that the medical community, like the rest of the population in the region, have been displaced to the southern half of the Gaza Strip as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression.
