Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Maj. Gen. Yousef Hunaiti, visited the Central Military Zone Command on Wednesday as part of ongoing efforts to assess operational readiness and enhance military capabilities to address evolving challenges.
During the visit, Maj. Gen. Hunaiti reviewed the training, logistics, and operational preparedness of units in the region. He emphasized the importance of continuous training and development to ensure the operational readiness of the Jordan Armed Forces in all circumstances.
While visiting the Royal Air Defense Battalion 73, Hunaiti was briefed on the battalion’s responsibilities, operational activities, and logistical capabilities.
He also inspected the latest equipment and weaponry used by the battalion, reiterating the Jordanian Armed Forces’ commitment to modernizing its air defense systems to strengthen the nation’s defense posture and maintain high levels of efficiency.

xtending the greetings and appreciation of His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces, and HRH Crown Prince Hussein.
He praised the efforts of the air defense personnel in protecting Jordan’s airspace and contributing to national security and stability.
