Cairo: The Armed Forces, in collaboration with the Association of Veterans and War Victims, organized an art exhibition and sports festival in celebration of Martyr’s and Veterans’ Day. The event took place on Sunday, 9th March 2025, and was attended by leaders of the Armed Forces, military attach©s and their spouses, and members of the association.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the exhibition showcased a variety of handcrafted products created by association members, including works in sculpture, ceramics, glass painting, and leather goods. These creations were made following training sessions conducted by skilled trainers, with all necessary raw materials provided to help participants express their artistic capabilities.

The sports festival featured several competitions among the association’s sports teams. Military bands also performed musical and national acts. At the conclusion of the festival, souvenirs, cups, and medals were awarded to the winning teams.

During the event, Major General A.H. Medhat Abdel Aziz Fawy, Director of the Veterans and War Victims Association, emphasized the organization’s commitment to supporting its members and their families. He acknowledged their sacrifices and contributions to maintaining the nation’s security and sovereignty.
