Arab youth mainly contribute to carrying out 2030 agendas

Minister of Planning and Economic Development Hala el Said asserted the Arab Week for Sustainable Development is an important platform for exchanging dialogue and participating in success stories and challenges.

The ministry is keen on holding such an activity every year in cooperation with the Arab League (AL), given the fact that Arab youth are the future of the nation, she added while meeting a group of Arab youth at a session on Arab experiments of young people, held as part of the fourth edition of the week on Monday.

Youth exceed 60% of population in all Arab countries and thus they mainly contribute to implementing 2030 agendas, she further pointed out.

Saeed said youth have ideas and energies capable of achieving sustainable development goals.

The week is held by the ministry in cooperation with the pan-Arab organization under the sponsorship of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
