Arab states slam Iranian missile strikes on Iraq’s Erbil

Egypt, Jordan, Bahrain and Yemen were among several Arab states on Sunday to condemn an Iranian missile strike on Erbil, northern Iraq. The strike, which hit areas administered by the Kurdish Regional Government on Saturday, (KRG) was claimed by Iran’s Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC), which alleged it had struck an Israeli base there. Egypt’s Foreign Ministry condemned the attack “in the strongest terms”, while Bahrain expressed its “full support for the Republic of Iraq in all the measures it takes to maintain its security and territorial integrity”.
