DUBAI: The activities of the ‘Arab Plast 2023’ exhibition, the largest plastics and petrochemicals exhibition in the Middle East and North Africa, will begin tomorrow at the Dubai World Trade Centre, with the participation of the industry’s main players from the GCC, regional and international petrochemicals and plastics manufacturers,
The event, which is held under the patronage of Sheikh Hasher bin Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Media Incorporated (DMI), will shed light on the latest findings of these industries and their future in the coming years and reveal the latest relevant products that promote the concepts of environmental awareness and sustainability.
During the three-day event, more than 750 international companies specialised in the plastics and petrochemicals sector from 35 countries, including Switzerland, Germany, Italy, India, China, Austria, Turkey and Saudi Arabia, will participate in the 16th edition of the event, with expectations that the exhibition will attract more tha
n 10,000 visitors in the event.
Nidal Muhammad, General Manager of Al-Fajr Information and Services Company, organiser of the exhibition, said that the new edition will see the participation of 750 exhibitors and will witness the establishment of pavilions for 11 countries, and among the participating countries are India, Europe, Taiwan, China and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
Rachid Moubayed, Director of Arab Plast 2023, stressed, ‘Arab Plast 2023 aims to set high standards for environmental awareness, sustainability and business growth this year.’
The event is set to showcase a variety of products, technologies and solutions that will shape the future of the plastics, petrochemicals and rubber sectors in the region.
