General Coordinator of the National Dialogue Diaa Rashwan said Friday 02/09/2022 that all the political and social parties are taking part in the National Dialogue.

All the 84 legitimate parties in Egypt have participated in the dialogue, he added in televised statements.

Also, non-partisan political forces and public figures are participating in the sessions, Rashwan said.

All the sides have the right to participate with the same right to oppose the dialogue, he added.

The National Dialogue is very serious, Rashwan said.

The Board of Trustees of the National Dialogue was formed of 19 figures, in addition to the general coordinator and the head of the technical secretariat, reflecting all the Egyptian political and social spectrum, he added.

There is no vote for the received ideas. All proposals will be submitted to the President of the Republic, the general coordinator said.

The Board of Trustees held four meetings within two months to conduct an in-depth discussion on how the dialogue should proceed, he added.

The National Dialogue mainly focuses on the political, social and economic axes, with 15 committees to manage their discussions, Rashwan said.
