‘Al-Jundi’ Journal publishes its issue for April

ABU DHABI: Al-Jundi Journal issued by the UAE Ministry of Defence has published its new April 2024 issue No. 603.

Through its latest issue, published in both Arabic and English, Al-Jundi uses research and analysis to examine several vital issues and topics, along with the most significant events and news related to the Ministry of Defence and the UAE Armed Forces.

Under the title “Emirati Birds of Goodness Soar in the Sky of Humanity”, Al-Jundi said in its message, “Since its establishment in 1971, the UAE has been internationally recognised as a beacon of goodness and generosity. The late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan was renowned for his philanthropic work and for extending a helping hand to those in need around the world”.

Moreover, Al Jundi added, “This humanitarian legacy continues to be upheld and strengthened by President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Under his leadership, the UAE has become an active and influential player in humanitarian and charitable endeavours on all fron
ts – Arab, Islamic, and international”.

The new issue touched on the most prominent political, military, and security events, new weapons, as well as scientific and technological developments achieved by modern technologies and artificial intelligence (AI) in the military field.

The Journal’s main file section of the April 2024 issue was titled “Future of Technology in the Air Force”.

In its “Studies and Analyses” section, Al-Jundi featured a study titled “Mediterranean Remilitarisation: Context, Aspects, and Trends”, in addition to another study titled: “Strategic Surprise: Why Do Countries Fail to Anticipate Military Attacks?”

Furthermore, Al-Jundi dedicated sections to the opinions and analyses of elite Emirati and Arab writers who discussed various issues and matters of interest to readers.

Founded in 1973, Al Jundi’s first issue was published in October, covering the news and activities of the Ministry of Defence and the UAE Armed Forces.
