Al-Azhar offered its sincere condolences on Saturday to the Pakistani leadership and people over the victims of floods that swept regions in the Asian country.

In a statement, Al-Azhar expressed its full solidarity with Pakistan to overcome this tragedy, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.

Hundreds of people were killed while thousands others were injured due to the powerful floods that caused devastation across the country.
