Al Azhar has strongly decried plans by the Israeli occupation authorities to usurp more Palestinian plots of land in the occupied West Bank to build new housing units for Israeli settlers.

Al Azhar reiterated in a statement on Tuesday 26/10/2021 that such Israeli crimes are rejected by international law, saying that this provocative move, which is meant to alter the demographic features of the area, should be prevented immediately.

Al Azhar also urged all countries to work on putting an end to these Israeli violations, reaffirming its solidarity with the Palestinian people and support for their cause.
