AJMAN: The Ajman International Bodybuilding Competition reached its triumphant finale at the Ajman Police Shooting and Sports Club, showcasing outstanding sporting prowess and crowning champions in various categories. Held on 10th and 11th February, 2024, this prestigious event drew over 250 participants from 20 countries, spanning diverse age groups and classifications.
In the IFBB Elite Pro Ajman Men’s Physique category, the professional championships witnessed Juma Mubarak from the UAE securing the gold medal, followed by Momen Abu Saleh from Jordan with the silver medal, and Rustam Krymukov from Russia claiming the bronze. In the Classic Physique category, Ali Qasim Karhim of Iraq clinched the gold, Mostafa Said from Egypt secured the silver, and Baha’Aldeen Haimour from Jordan earned the bronze.
The bodybuilding category saw Ahmed Moustafa from Egypt seize the gold, with Vahid Ahdno Zarnagh from Iran securing the silver and Osama Salama Ahmed from Egypt taking home the bronze.
The youth category (16-2
3 years) saw Amer Khalil from Syria winning gold, while Mohammad Malla, also from Syria, claimed the silver. In the 40 and above age group, Abolfazl Sedghi Jigheh of Iran earned the gold, Sameh Abdelmalak Gergis from the UAE won silver, and Babak Babaeipour of Iran secured the bronze.
The event, held under the patronage of the Ajman Department of Tourism Development, attracted the presence of esteemed figures in the world of bodybuilding, including Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Sharqi, President of the UAE Federation for Body Building and Physical Strength, Dr. Rafael Santoga, President of the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness, and Dr. Adel Fahim, Vice President of the International Federation of Bodybuilding and President of the Arab and African Federation of Bodybuilding.
