Ajman Crown Prince receives CBUAE Governor

H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, received on Monday Khaled Mohamed Balama, Governor of the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE), at Al Safia Rest House in the Mushairif area.

Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman, was also present.

During the meeting, the Crown Prince of Ajman was briefed on the efforts of the Central Bank to develop the banking sector and strengthen confidence in the financial services in the country, as well as on the plans and strategies set by the bank to enhance monetary and financial stability.

Sheikh Ammar praised the efforts of the Central Bank aimed at supporting the competitiveness, diversity, and growth of the financial sector, achieving efficiency and flexibility in the financial system, and supporting the country’s economic growth in line with the vision and aspirations of the wise leadership.

The Governor of the Central Bank expressed his gratitude and
appreciation to the Crown Prince of Ajman for the great support provided by the Government of Ajman under the directives of H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, to drive development and specifically to advance the financial and banking sector.

The reception was attended by Rashid Abdul Rahman bin Jabr Al Suwaidi, Director-General of the Human Resources Department in the Government of Ajman; Saif Al Dhaheri, Assistant Governor of the Central Bank for Banking Operations and Support Services; Noura Al Balushi, Director-General of the Emirates Institute of Finance; and Mustafa Al Khalafawi, CEO of Ajman Bank.
