ZURICH: Christine Lagarde, the Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), has predicted that artificial intelligence (AI) will impact 60 percent of jobs in advanced economies and 40 percent of job opportunities worldwide over the next two years.

Lagarde added during a conference in Zurich yesterday that AI could lead to a massive increase in productivity if managed well, but it could also lead to more misinformation and, naturally, more inequality in society.
