DUBAI: Business management consultant Bain and Company affirmed that artificial intelligence contributes significantly to providing many predictive scenarios that assist companies in planning and implementing their environmental strategies.
AI is increasingly playing a role in supporting and enhancing companies’ sustainability initiatives worldwide, Akram Alami, Senior Partner and Middle East Head of Utilities, Aviation, and Sustainability and Responsibility practices at Bain and Company, told the Emirates News Agency (WAM) on the sidelines of the 10th World Green Economy Summit (WGES) in Dubai.
He said that the fundamental question facing companies today is how to achieve sustainability from an economic perspective, in addition to meeting environmental goals.
Alami addressed several key issues that concern CEOs around the world, including how to translate long-term goals, such as the 2050 targets set by governments, into actionable annual scenarios, and how to utilise AI for accurate predictive analytics.
