Cairo: Spokesman for the Agriculture Ministry Mohamed el Kersh asserted that the ministry is organizing the Spring Flowers Exhibition in cooperation with the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) for the first time ever. The move is meant to turn the exhibition into a global fair and to attract more exhibitors worldwide, added Kersh in televised remarks on Saturday.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the measure is intended to tap new horizons for further cooperation and expansion abroad. The exhibition provides a good opportunity and is considered a gateway to train and qualify those who are interested in cultivation.

The event is offering an important chance for learning more about the history of agriculture through the agricultural museum, where it will be held. The Spring Flowers Exhibition is the second most important agricultural fair in the world, according to the spokesman.

Foreign delegations are expected to show up in the exhibition to present their different ideas. The exhibition will see various sessions and symposiums that include experts, he noted.
