Aqaba Development Corporation (ADC), the central development arm of Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA), participated in Jordan’s delegation, headed by Minister of Investment, Kholoud Saqqaf, in the Annual Investment Meeting (AIM) 2023 in Abu Dhabi. In a press statement on Wednesday, ADC CEO, Hussein Safadi, said the company’s participation comes as part of its marketing policies to introduce the “unique” investment environment in Aqaba region, and highlight the multiple investment opportunities for Arab and international investors. Safadi said ADC also took part in the investment symposium, organized by Jordanian Ministry of Investment under the theme: “Discover Investment Prospects in Jordan”. During the symposium, which was attended by several senior Arab and Jordanian businesspeople, the participating countries’ ministers, and Arab League Secretary General, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Safadi noted ADC cast light on ASEZA’s current success stories and investment opportunities. Safadi noted ASEZA has “unique, valuable” investment opportunities, amid the region’s “high” competitiveness, thanks to its “strict ” organizational and development plans prepared in advance. In a related context, he referred to Jordan’s economic security and stability and its “attractive” investor environment with “high” competitiveness degree, which enhances value of Aqaba’s economic feasibility of investment projects.
