ABU DHABI: The Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA) has launched the third edition of the Ibdaa Corporate Excellence Award 2024, in the presence of Saeed Al Bahri Salem Al Ameri, Director-General of ADAFSA, and representatives from the Ministry of Interior, which is in charge of judging the award entries.
The award aims to cultivate a culture of excellence, encourage positive competition between organisational units and teams, improve the efficiency of ADAFSA’s workforce, document its path to success, and recognise and motivate performance. This is in line with the directives of Abu Dhabi’s leadership to establish internal excellence programmes for government entities in the emirate.
Speaking at the award ceremony, Mouza Suhail Al Muhairi, Deputy Director-General for Regulatory and Administrative Affairs, said that the award is one of ADAFSA’s leading initiatives that reflects its commitment to providing a working environment that ensures access to the Abu Dhabi Government Excellence Awards, which were established to build institutions based on creativity, innovation and institutional efficiency.
She also noted that the award is a new achievement that adds to the organisation’s record of institutional excellence and helps unleash the potential of employees who strive for excellence and creativity.
The Ibdaa Award Corporate Excellence allows competition between organisational units and teams in all sectors. The current cycle includes institutional categories that will crown five categories that support competition between organisational units that provide programmes and services, such as the best extension centres, fodder markets, veterinary hospitals and clinics, and development projects.
