Abu Dhabi Social Support Authority recognises partners for contribution to sustainable social impact


ABU DHABI: In the presence of Dr. Mugheer Al Khaili, Member of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Department of Community Development – Abu Dhabi, the Abu Dhabi Social Support Authority (SSA) recently marked its fifth anniversary.

The event, supported by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), showcased SSA’s key social support programmes benefiting over 5,000 families annually.

Over the past five years, SSA has created a positive impact through financial support, empowerment, and training programs, allocating over AED 2 billion to eligible families.

Approximately 1,250 beneficiaries secured employment, and many more engaged through platforms like Nafis and Mawaheb. SSA also conducted financial literacy programs for over 1,100 beneficiaries and social workshops for nearly 682 individuals.

Under the slogan ‘Collaborate for Social Impact’, SSA honoured strategic partners who contributed to its social support and empowerment programs.

sed the importance of partnerships in achieving financial independence for families and enhancing social stability in Abu Dhabi.

SSA has developed an efficient system for data verification, reducing customer access time to social support services from 90 to 7 working days. During the ceremony, various institutions from the government and private sectors were honoured for their cooperation in supporting SSA’s mandate.

Abdulla Al Ameri, Director-General of SSA, expressed gratitude to strategic partners for their support and commitment to social stability and financial independence for families. SSA aims to continue creating lasting social impact through cooperation and partnerships, inviting further collaboration from government entities and companies.
