ABU DHABI: Abu Dhabi Customs is set to showcase its latest innovative projects within the invisible customs ecosystem, which aligns with the latest technologies and adheres to the highest global standards and practices.

This showcase will take place during the first edition of the Global Rail Transport Infrastructure Exhibition and Conference (GRTIEC), held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court.

The event will be held from 8th to 10th October, 2024, at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi.

At its exhibition booth, Abu Dhabi Customs will display its invisible customs ecosystem for customs clearance and pioneering projects designed to facilitate global trade movement and enhance supply chains. This supports Abu Dhabi’s efforts to develop logistics services and diversify the national economy.

Abu Dhabi Customs will provide a unique interactive experience for visitors to learn about the customs clearance journey through t
he invisible customs ecosystem, including the pre-arrival clearance system and clearance from outside the country.

Additionally, it will showcase advanced technological systems supported by artificial intelligence that facilitate data management, smart matching, and valuation procedures, enhancing operational efficiency and serving the logistics sector.

Visitors will also be introduced to the continuous cooperation and coordination with partners aimed at strengthening digital integration, interconnection, and comprehensive automation to provide a sustainable infrastructure through efficient and seamless digital services that enhance the experience for customers and the business community, saving them time, effort, and cost.

This contributes to the ongoing development of the logistics sector and enhances its growth, solidifying Abu Dhabi’s position as a destination for business and investment.

Rashid Lahej Al Mansoori, Director-General of Abu Dhabi Customs, stated that the Global Rail Transport Infrastruct
