Abu Dhabi City Municipality has won three international awards in the International Best Practice Competition (IBPC) recently held in New Zealand.

The municipality competed alongside prestigious local and international institutions. Prominent experts evaluated all submitted entries through the IBPC’s Best Practice Certification system.

The evaluation results led to the victory of the “Noor Abu Dhabi” project – phases one and two – in the Asset Management category. The municipality is the only entity globally to win in this category in this year’s 10th edition of the competition.

Additionally, the “Noor Abu Dhabi” project – phases one and two – received a “7-Star Rating” in the International Best Practice category, the highest and most prestigious rating globally within this category.

Abu Dhabi City Municipality presented a unique and distinguished model of sustainable applications by implementing the “Noor Abu Dhabi” project, which aimed to replace traditional lighting with energy-efficient LED lights, r
educing carbon emissions and achieving targeted sustainability.

The municipality expressed that receiving the 7-star Rating is a source of pride and a commitment to continuous service enhancement, reinforcing its leading role as a pioneering institution in community service and development.

Furthermore, Abu Dhabi City Municipality’s “Innovation System’ received a “5-Star Rating” in the Organisation-Wide Innovation Award category.
