Ramallah – Ma’an – The Commander of the Emergency and Ambulance Unit in Lebanon for the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, Dr. Ziad Abu Al-Ainain, accompanied by the supervisor of the northern region of the unit, Commander Muhammad Ismail, the Commander of the Emergency and Ambulance Unit in Ain Al-Hilweh, Fatima Sarhan, and the Commander of the Emergency and Ambulance Unit in Burj Al-Shamali Camp, Munir Musa, in coordination with the Commander of the Tyre Region, Major General Tawfiq Abdullah, inspected the emergency and ambulance teams present in the city of Tyre in southern Lebanon and the support teams from the city of Sidon.
The tour included inspecting the ambulance and emergency teams in Tyre, in addition to the support teams from Sidon. The Jenin Center of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society in Burj al-Shamali camp, Yasser Arafat Hospital in al-Bass camp, and Tal al-Zaatar Hospital in Rashidieh camp were also visited, appreciating the role of doctors, nurses and paramedics and their dedication to pro
viding health and emergency services, whether inside hospitals or in the field.
Abu Al-Ainain stressed that their work comes in implementation of the instructions of President Mahmoud Abbas and the directives of the Palestinian Ambassador to Lebanon Ashraf Dabour, to provide humanitarian support and assistance to the Lebanese brothers.
During the inspection tour, Abu Al-Ainain met with the Commander of the Tyre region, Major General Tawfiq Abdullah, in the Rashidieh camp, praising his role in providing all the capabilities to facilitate the work of the ambulance and emergency teams in the Tyre region.
