Abdel Ghaffar Announces 114 Million Services Delivered by ‘Bedaya’ Presidential Initiative.


Cairo: Abdel Ghaffar has revealed that the ‘Bedaya’ presidential initiative has delivered 114 million services. Over the past four days alone, 7,305,042 services were rendered across various sectors. Youth and sports activities engaged 307,467 participants in 3,472 events. Awareness campaigns on the importance of a child’s first 1,000 days reached 46,189 citizens through social guides. Social support services such as education grants, marriage assistance, and compensation benefited 20,198 citizens.

According to State Information Service Egypt, 577 disability identification cards and integrated services were issued, and 6,545 citizens received rehabilitation services. The initiative distributed ‘Takaful and Karama’ cash support cards to 85,430 beneficiaries and provided training under the Rural Women Training Project to 31,155 women. Additionally, 2.3 tons of meat were delivered to 2,339 families, and 50 comprehensive development convoys supported 24,572 citizens. Awareness sessions and life skills developmen
t activities reached 13,088 children.

Door-to-door campaigns addressing addiction risks engaged 10,024 young people. Healthcare services, including treatment, preventive care, family planning, home visits, pregnancy follow-ups, and child growth monitoring, reached 5,354,719 citizens through 58 medical convoys. Coinciding with World Diabetes Day, Bedaya launched a major service campaign in the Universal Health Insurance system’s first-phase governorates. This included free early detection for schoolchildren, diabetes awareness sessions for teachers and students, glucose monitoring, and distribution of gifts. Nutritional guidance was provided to parents of children with Type 1 diabetes, and elderly diabetic patients were educated on treatment options and provided with medications through health facilities and home visits.

Additionally, ‘Bedaya’ organized 609 cultural events, benefiting 44,517 participants, and conducted awareness activities on museum heritage and archaeological sites for 1,045 attendees. The
initiative financed 1,450 medium, small, and micro projects for youth and low-income families. Financial inclusion seminars by social guides reached 6,000 citizens, and veterinary services supported 151,179 beneficiaries through deworming, vaccination, poultry treatment, public health campaigns, and 90 veterinary and agricultural awareness sessions benefiting 6,977 citizens.

Training sessions under the national ‘Mawada’ program were conducted for 3,501 young individuals preparing for marriage. Mobile units and evening shifts provided 3,319 services related to document verification and notarization across various governorates. Twenty awareness sessions on the roles of the Ministries of Justice and Communications in advancing smart justice reached 1,431 participants.

Moreover, the initiative held nine events promoting occupational safety, health, and first aid, as well as sessions on women’s economic empowerment, anti-discrimination in the workplace, collective labor relations, and job search strategies. Thes
e activities engaged 455 employees from public sector entities. Vocational training sessions, English language courses, and professional development programs benefited 25 participants, while 10 individuals with disabilities were provided with employment opportunities. Lastly, interactive workshops on water conservation and climate change reached 2,730 students.
