Palestinian President, Mahmoud Abbas, on Sunday, valued role of Jordan, Egypt, and brotherly and friendly countries for their efforts to end division and achieve inter-Palestinian unity. Speaking at the closing discussions of the secretaries-general of Palestinian factions in Egypt, Abbas said the meeting is a “first and important” step to complete inter-Palestinian dialogue that achieves the desired goals as soon as possible. Abbas also called on the participants to form a committee to complete Cairo dialogue on the various issues and files that were discussed, aimed to ending division and achieving inter-Palestinian national unity.
