9450 arrests since the beginning of the war

The Commission for Ex-Prisoners’ Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club said that the Israeli occupation forces have arrested more than 9,450 citizens from the West Bank, including Jerusalem, since the beginning of the ongoing war of genocide and comprehensive aggression against our people.

The Commission and the Prisoners Club explained, in a joint statement today, Sunday, that this toll includes those who were arrested from their homes, through military checkpoints, those who were forced to surrender themselves under pressure, and those who were held hostage.

During the past two days, the occupation forces arrested at least 20 citizens from the West Bank, including brothers and former prisoners. The arrests were distributed across the governorates of Hebron, Tulkarm, Nablus, and Jerusalem.

It is noteworthy that the occupation forces continue, during the arrest campaigns, to carry out extensive raids and abuse, severe beatings, and threats against detainees and their families, in addition to extensiv
e acts of vandalism and destruction in citizens’ homes
