Some 194 leaders will participate in the high-level deliberations of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), which begins Tuesday, including 76 at the level of Head of State, the United Nations announced on Tuesday.
Four vice presidents, two crown princes, 42 prime ministers and nine deputy prime ministers, as well as 54 ministers, will also participate in the deliberations.
Deliberations will continue until September 30, while the session lasts a full year.
Key topics on the agenda include: Peace and Security, Climate Change, Human Rights, Sustainable Development, Economic Growth, Advancement of Women, Armed Conflict, Palestinian Question, Atomic Radiation, Outer Space, Development of Africa, Humanitarian Assistance, Justice, International Law, Disarmament, Drug Control, Crime Prevention and Counter-Terrorism.
