As many as 7 million tourists visited Egypt during the first half of this year, said Tourism and Antiquities Minister Ahmed Issa.
The minister made the remarks on Monday 10/7/2023 while presiding over the permanent committee for licensing hotel and tourist establishments, which was held at the tourism ministry’s premises at the New Administrative Capital.
During the meeting, the minister lauded efforts exerted by the private sector and the constructive cooperation for the relevant bodies in order to attain Egypt’s goals for the tourism industry.
He further referred to the unprecedented growth in the number of tourists visiting Egypt during this period.
