ABU DHABI: Fifty-six judicial enforcement officers from three government agencies in Abu Dhabi took the legal oath to begin their roles in enforcing laws related to crimes and administrative infractions before Counsellor Ali Mohammed Al Balooshi, Attorney-General of Abu Dhabi.

The oath-taking ceremony was held at the Judicial Department’s main headquarters in Abu Dhabi for inspectors newly designated as judicial enforcers. The officers represent the Department of Municipalities and Transport, the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority, and the Department of Health.

Counselor Al Balooshi stated that the decision to grant judicial enforcer status to these inspectors follows directives from His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Presidential Court and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD). This initiative aims to enhance service quality across various sectors while ensuring robust oversight and continuous monitoring to uph
old Abu Dhabi’s competitive position.

He emphasised the Judicial Department’s commitment to certifying and training applicants as judicial enforcement officers according to the latest standards and practices. This ensures that auditing and inspection processes are conducted in compliance with legal requirements, integrating oversight principles to ensure the proper application of legal procedures.
