The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that 54 people were killed and 258 others wounded as a result of Israeli airstrikes on Lebanon over the past 48 hours, bringing the total death toll since the onset of the aggression to 2,309 killed and 10,782 wounded.
The Lebanese National News Agency reported, quoting the coordinator of the government’s Emergency Committee, Environment Minister Dr. Nasser Yassin, in the 18th report on the Israeli attacks on Lebanon and the current situation, that 200 airstrikes were recorded in various areas of Lebanon in the past 48 hours, bringing the total number since the beginning of the aggression to 9,866 airstrikes.
He noted that 1,059 centres have been opened to receive displaced people, 876 of which have reached their maximum capacity; while 188,146 displaced people have been registered in shelter centres.
