40 thousand worshipers performing Friday prayers – restrictions on the entry of worshipers

Tens of thousands of worshipers performed Friday prayers in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, amid continued restrictions on the entry of worshipers into it.

The number of worshipers at Al-Aqsa was estimated at 40,000.

Before prayer time, the forces set up their checkpoints in the ‘Bab al-Asbat Road’ area, and designated a path for the worshipers to walk, ‘young men, women, children, and the elderly.’ They prevented many young men from entering without any reason, and forcibly removed some of them from the place.

The forces also assaulted a young man in the Bab al-Asbat area – one of the gates of Al-Aqsa – by beating him.

At the gates of Al-Aqsa, the forces arrested young men ‘randomly,’ checked their identities, and ghosted some for inspection. They also prevented a number from entering Al-Aqsa, and searched purses and bags after arresting the women.

Those deported and prohibited from entering Al-Aqsa performed prayers on the Mujahideen Road – the road between the Lions Gate and Hatta – and listened to the F
riday sermon through the minarets
