Based on the Tahya Misr Development Fund’s pioneering role over nine years in caring for the most vulnerable families in the neediest areas, the Fund has intensified its various activities and initiatives until it has become a role model for many efforts in the field of charitable and development work.

In this context, Tamer Abdel Fattah, Executive Director of the Long Live Egypt Fund, confirmed that the Fund has implemented many projects during 2023 serving roughly 4.3 million citizens at a cost of LE3.037 billion.

The projects were meant to improve the living conditions of people, in implementation of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s directives to help families in need overcome difficulties and enhance their capabilities to face societal challenges.

Abdel Fattah pointed out that the Fund’s activity extended beyond the borders of the Egyptian state to reach the Palestinian and Syrian brothers, through comprehensive humanitarian and medical convoys. He said that the Long Live Egypt Fund supports peoples i
n times of disasters and crises. The Fund has been keen to diversify its services provided to families in need of care, through a number of initiatives and projects that provide social support to low-income people, in addition to preparing girls in need for marriage, especially orphan girls, at a cost of 534 million pounds.

Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli stressed in recent remarks the importance of Tahya Misr Fund, pointing out that it has become a major axis in the comprehensive development process the state has been carrying out throughout the past nine years.

The Tahya Misr Fund was established by President Sisi in 2015 to help poor communities and impoverished villages in the country through development projects.

The fund has also provided assistance in cases of crises at the regional level, providing aid in the Gaza Strip as well as sending medical convoys to a number of African countries.

The fund also aims to encourage the engagement of the private sector along with the government agencies concer
ned in the development efforts.
