Two Palestinians were shot and killed by Israeli occupation forces near Tulkarem in the northern West Bank, and a third died of wounds suffered during an army raid of the city of Nablus Monday evening, according to the Palestinian health Ministry.
It named the two young men as Abdel Fattah Jabara and Ahmad Rajab, both from Tulkarm refugee camp, and said their bodies were held by Israeli troops. A third man, Ahmad Khudari, 30, died of wounds to the chest he sustained during the Nablus raid yesterday, in which two other people were killed and dozens injured.
Israeli troops fired shots on a vehicle at a military checkpoint west of Tulkarem and prevented ambulances from reaching the scene.
Palestinian factions, institutions and activists in Tulkarem declared a day of mourning for the victims.
