Amman: Minister of Awqaf, Islamic Affairs and Holy Places, Dr. Muhammad Khalayleh, decided to suspend the accreditation of 18 Hajj and Umrah companies from carrying out all their operations and activities pending investigation into the case of providing pilgrimage services to holders of visit visas to Saudi Arabia.

Last year, the ministry suspended 3 companies from operating for a 2-year period.

In a statement Wednesday, Khalayleh affirmed that the ministry will revoke the license of every company, which is proven to be involved in the case for illegally transporting Jordanians to perform Hajj in 2024.
