Cairo: About 16,000 tons of goods were handled at the different Red Sea harbors Monday, according to the Red Sea Ports Authority (RSPA). In a statement, the RSPA detailed that imports comprised 5,000 tons of goods, alongside 433 trucks and 98 cars.
According to State Information Service Egypt, the exports totaled 11,000 tons of goods, with 436 trucks and 98 cars leaving the ports. The data highlights the bustling activity and the capacity of the Red Sea ports in managing substantial volumes of trade efficiently. The figures underscore the ports’ role in facilitating both imports and exports in the region, contributing significantly to the local and national economy.
