14 BAU faculty members selected among world’s most influential researchers

14 faculty members at Al-Balqa’ Applied University (BAU) were selected among the top 2 percent of the world’s most influential researchers, according to the updated database of citation indices prepared by Stanford University and Elsevier for the current year.

BAU President Ahmad Fakhry Al-Ajlouni commended the eminent researchers on their notable global achievement, which demonstrates the excellence of the BAU’s faculty.

He emphasized the value the university places on scientific research, citing it as one of its primary aims and its contribution to the realization of sustainable development goals, as well as the university’s growth on a national and worldwide scale.

BAU Dean of Scientific Research and Innovation, Amal Abbadi, in turn, reaffirmed that the university will keep up its strategy of establishing a conducive research environment for researchers, offering the required funding for scientific research, and collaborating with regional, national, and worldwide research centers and universities to se
cure additional funding for scientific research, in order to meet sustainable development goals.

The selected researchers are: Omar Abdul Karim Abu Arqoub, Zaid Mahmoud Odhaibat, Jaafar Ahmad Al-Zoubi, Malik Shehadeh Breik, Zakaria Qasim Al-Qudah, Ahmad Mohammad Al-Ajou, Omar Ahmad Al-Zoubi, Omar Othman Badran, Mutaz Atef Al-Azab, Ahmad Hassan Al-Weshah, Khalil Ibrahim Assaf, Ammar Ali Al-Momani, Mazen Mamoun Abu Khder, and Abdul Aziz Issam Al-Hammouri.
